About Us

We wanted to build the ultimate support network for young athletes.  GRIT combines teaching the physical and mental skills to become great athletes and combines it with a year-round support platform so athletes can always have a GRIT trainer at their side.

Now, more than ever, young athletes need stability and support.  Our network provides young athletes with the knowledge they need to perform better and maintain their health for life.

Our Founders

Who We Are

Dan Tatton

Dan has been in the fitness industry for 16 years building the company he co-founded, Seven Movements, for the last 7 years.  Dan has always taken a critical look at the fitness industry and seeks new innovative solutions to help people move better.

A multi-sport athlete growing up in Saskatchewan Dan was like many young athletes, trying to find the balance between training & rest, as well as gaining the knowledge to become an elite performer.

GRIT is designed to connect with and support young athletes of all sports and ability levels.  Dan has been working with young athletes for 16 years and saw the gaps in movement education and physical literacy that were missing even amongst young high performing athletes.

Dan believes that when we move better we perform better.  He also believes that when we have consistent, stable support we are able to better reach our athletic potential.

GRIT was born out of a love for athletics and a desire to help young athletes reach their potential while becoming better humans.
