GRIT Performance Signature Program

When you visit a high-end restaurant is it customary to walk over to the head chef and tell him how to cook your meal and what ingredients to use? Probably not… You are there to enjoy the full experience and what it has to offer. After a meticulous consultation assessing athletic ability and injuries, those able bodied can enter the GRIT Performance Signature Program.

Grit Month #1-3 – Muscle break-down, stamina increase and leaning out.

The first three months of the program requires a lot of discipline that focuses on repetition. Most exercises will consist of high reps with lower weights.  The focus is on breaking down the muscles with fatigue and elongated repetition. This cuts the bulk of heavy and generally unnecessary muscle from heavier weightlifting. It also burns fat. The high repetition with drops sets and burn outs (I’ll explain later) force muscles to adapt to the strenuous training and meet lactic thresholds. Over time, the longer repetition sets become easier, and you can increase the weight incrementally.  The first month is vital to the breakdown of old, slow, bulky into lean, quick responding, trimmed muscle. Body mobility exercises, stretching and rolling out are introduced to the program.

Month #4-6 – Stamina continuance, incremental weight increases and functional implementation

You can push your muscles through fatigue with a new benchmark of stamina. Your athletic balance and cooperation between muscle groups has improved. Your balance, mobility, function and strength have improved. This includes your core strength, flexibility and joint mobility. This portion of the program pushes rest intervals to increase the intensity of the workouts. More cardiovascular exercises added to the end of workouts or throughout your progression to support trimming fat.

You have built considerable stamina and lactic threshold in your muscles to this point. You have better mobility, flexibility, and body awareness. The key is to continue this consistency. The online Membership will support your journey with ongoing workouts that increase strength as a larger emphasis moves to lower reps and higher weight. The circuits also modify by changing the circuit composition. The online program will provide accountability, coaching communication, group chats, ongoing workouts, nutritional recipes, and plenty more.
